Liberty appoints National Sales Manager

Liberty has appointed Sof Tsialtas to the newly created role of National Sales Manager to further support the broker channel and help more customers get financial.

The new position further builds on Liberty’s substantial sales capability – including the largest BDM team of any non-bank. Formerly State Sales Manager for VIC/TAS, Tsialtas, with 33 years in the industry and 12 years with Liberty is best placed to leap the non-bank into a new phase of sales support and growth.

Group Sales Manager, John Mohnacheff said he was thrilled to be able to offer business partners even more support through this new appointment and was proud to have Tsialtas by his side.

“Sof has deep knowledge and experience working with business partners and will help to expand our broker sales and support capabilities at a time when customers need the help of the broking industry more than ever before,” Mohnacheff said.

Receiving the top spot in the MPA Magazine’s 2020 Brokers on Non-Banks Survey, Liberty continues to demonstrate its unwavering and consistent support, even during difficult times.

“It’s been a tough year, but we’ve continued our commitment to the broker channel, remained open for business, grown our team and expanded our product lines to help brokers assist even more customers. This new appointment is one more way to illustrate that we are listening to the needs of our business partners and showing up for them,” Mohnacheff added.

Tsialtas reflected that he was excited to leverage his industry and Liberty experience to continue to support brokers in increasingly diverse ways.

Succeeding Tsialtas in the role of State Sales Manager for VIC/TAS is Kevin Arkell. Previously National Sales Manager for LFI Group, Arkell has been with the Liberty Group of companies for 10 years.
