Renegades membership terms and conditions
Terms and conditions
1. This Offer is conducted by Liberty Financial Pty Ltd ABN 55 077 248 983 (Tel 13 11 33) Australian Credit Licence 286596 and Liberty Network Services Pty Ltd ABN 65 151 158 628. Australian Credit Licence 408042 both of 16/535 Bourke Street, Melbourne, Victoria (Liberty, we, us, our) together with Melbourne Renegades ABN 53 006 089 130 of CitiPower Centre, Junction Oval, Lakeside Drive, St Kilda, Victoria.
2. This Offer commences on Friday 9 June 2023 at 9.00am (AEDT) and closes at 11.59pm (AEDT) on Sunday 31 December 2023 (Offer Period).
3. This Offer is only open to Australian residents who:
a) are Victorian residents;
b) meet the Eligibility Requirements;
c) are not ineligible under clause 23, which applies to individuals with certain existing relationships to us; and
d) have not breached these Terms and Conditions;
4. By meeting all Eligibility Requirements, the individual accepts these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility Requirements:
5. To be eligible for the Offer individuals must:
a. contact and book an appointment with a Liberty Adviser; and
b. apply for, be approved and settle a loan with that local Liberty Adviser within the Offer Period.
6. The Offer is only available to the person who is the named applicant of the settled loan, or one of the named applicants of the loan in the case of joint applications.
7. Only one Offer is available per settled loan.
8. This Offer can only be redeemed once per individual even if the individual has settled more than one loan with a Liberty Adviser during the Offer Period.
9. By submitting a loan application using the campaign landing page, the individual consents to Liberty sharing their personal information with the Melbourne Renegades for the purposes of redeeming this Offer.
The Offer
10. The Offer is a complimentary Melbourne Renegades Access Red membership valued at $320 or a Champions Individual membership valued at $230 for the BBL|13 season (Offer). This Offer cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other Offer or promotion.
11. The Offer will be available to all individuals who meet the Eligibility Requirements and accept the Offer in accordance with clause 15.
12. The Offer (including any unused portion of the Offer) is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash other than in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Offer. The Offer must be taken as offered and may not be varied.
Offer Notification
13. We will notify all individuals who qualify for the Offer within one week of their eligible loan settling.
14. The Melbourne Renegades will notify the individuals via email or phone call.
15. The individuals must accept the Offer before 5:00 pm (AEDT) Monday 15 January 2024 by:
a) Responding to the email that is sent to them by the Melbourne Renegades or answering a phone call from the Melbourne Renegades; and
b) Creating an account through Melbourne Renegades’ membership website or by phone with the Melbourne Renegades; and
c) Providing the required information which may include, but is not limited to, the individuals’ and their family’s full names, residential addresses, contact numbers and children’s ages.
16. By meeting the Eligibility Requirements for this Offer, individuals agree that they will undertake such steps as are reasonably required by us or the Melbourne Renegades to take delivery of the Offer and acknowledge that the Offer will not be available until these requirements have been met to the reasonable satisfaction of us and the Melbourne Renegades. Without limitation, the requirements include compliance with lawful directions by us or the Melbourne Renegades.
17. Each individual is responsible for understanding and complying with their taxation obligations in relation to the Offer.
Your information
18. Individuals consent to us and our related entities using their information for the following purposes:
a) Facilitating the Offer;
b) Promotion of products and services, including products or services that we distribute; and
c) Conducting research, and planning or developing product and marketing strategies.
19. Individuals consent to Melbourne Renegades and its related entities using their information for the following purposes:
a) Facilitating the Offer;
b) Promotion of products and services, including products or services that we distribute; and
c) Conducting research, and planning or developing product and marketing strategies.
General Provisions
21. If there is a dispute as to the identity or details of an individual, we reserve the right in our sole discretion, to determine the identity or details of the individual.
22. Each individual acknowledges that we can rely on these Terms and Conditions even if we only learn of an individual’s ineligibility for the Offer after we have awarded an Offer to the ineligible entrant. Return of an Offer or payment of its equivalent value to us can be required to us if this occurs.
23. Our employees (and their immediate families) and those of our related entities, or of any other organisation associated with this Offer are ineligible for the Offer. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin. Related entity means related within the meaning of the Corporations Act 2001 (Commonwealth).
24. If for any reason this Offer is not capable of being awarded as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond our control, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Offer or our reputation or the reputation of this Offer, we may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Offer, subject to regulatory approval, if required.
25. We reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of applicants (including their eligibility for the Offer) and to not award the Offer to any individual whose eligibility is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who interferes improperly in the administration, integrity or conduct of the Offer. Our failure or omission to enforce any of our rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
26. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, we (including our respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential arising in any way out of the Offer.
27. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, we (including our officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under our control);
b) any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
c) any entry or offer claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by us) due to any reason beyond our reasonable control;
d) any tax liability incurred by a winning entrant; or
e) use/taking of an offer.
28. Any entrant who, in our reasonable opinion, tampers or interferes with the entry, or in any way, engages in any unlawful or improper conduct which jeopardizes or is likely to jeopardize the fair or proper conduct of the Offer, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win.
29. Quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid offer claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms, all offer claims in excess of the advertised offer pool will be honoured.
30. The laws of Australia apply to this Offer to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
31. Our decisions in relation to this Offer are final and we reserve the right to not respond to any communication disputing or disparaging our decisions.

When you enter our Offer, we collect the personal information you provide. If you receive an Offer, we may collect further information about you.
We use your information to administer the Offer, fulfil the Offer and to promote our products and services and those of our partners. We may also use your personal information to conduct research and plan and develop product and marketing strategies, and any other purpose explained in the Offer terms and conditions.
Without some or all of this information, we may not be able to award you the Offer or provide the Offer.
We may disclose your personal information to:
· Entities who assist us in administering the Offer and fulfilling the Offer, and other Offer suppliers and deliverers;
· Marketing, research, and communications agencies;
· Our related companies, who will use and disclose it for similar purposes as us;
· The authorities responsible for the regulation of gaming and lotteries and other government agencies, where applicable; and
· Other parties where required by law.
We will not disclose your information overseas in the course of administering the Offer.
